Alex Saunders - CEO

Alex comes with a specialist background of experience in European and US sports recruitment and also the American and European Soccer markets. Alex was born in London, England and grew up on the south coast towns of Hastings and Eastbourne before he attended college in Coventry, Warwickshire (UK) where he studied for a degree in History and Politics and a Masters in E-commerce and Computing. After college Alex moved to central London to begin his career with Michael Page International (www.michaelpage.com), a multinational corporation across the globe that specializes in recruitment of specific skill based employees on a contractual and full time basis. Alex was responsible for the Sports markets for Michael Page in central London where he took care of London based Premiership Soccer Teams (EPL), Rugby teams, Cricket Teams and associated brands such as Adidas, Nike and corporate sports sponsors including L’Oreal, BUPA, Shell Oil, British Petroleum and the Royal Mail.

After developing this into a $300,000 a quarter business Alex was offered an opportunity in the United States to be part of MLS Camps as a Regional Manager, Client Services manager and Coach Coordinator. After moving to California Alex established himself at MLS Camps where he looked after the geographical areas of California, Utah, Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Washington and Montana, responsible for developing youth soccer programs for Soccer Organizations (AYSO, Competitive and City programs) and also running summer camps, managing coaches, finance and marketing.

After completing a year with MLS Camps Alex was offered a specialist position at USG Soccer to manage the Northern California area youth soccer programs where he developed a $500,000 market in 8 months. This position included working with AYSO, competitive and elite soccer programs, as well as developing professional coaches as part of our clients long term aims.

Since leaving USG Soccer Alex has set up US Sports Coaching LLC using a variety of experts, including coaching professionals, as part of the board of directors and establishing relationships with top sports brands, clubs and training organizations to offer clients a fantastic package that the youth soccer market had not had until now.

Alex can be seen coaching in the community with West Valley College Mens Program (Assistant Coach), Leland High School (JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Head Coach), Bret Harte Boys Middle School (Head Coach), Santa Clara Sporting Club Coach (Boys 99 Green). Coaching Qualifications: NSCAA Premier Diploma (A License), NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma and UEFA Level 2 from the UK.
